Cozying Up for Infinity

I doubt I’m the only one in this region of the country who knows that once the cold hits, it feels like it’s cold forever. So, what else is there to do on these cold and gloomy Ohio days other than bundle up and go for a hike in the #CVNP? Might as well forget about the cold and take advantage of the great National Park we have at our disposal.

We took a wander around some trails near Everett Covered Bridge, which is a pretty cool historical bridge that has been standing since the 1800’s (restored in the 1980’s). I will admit, I had visions of Sleepy Hollow when we first saw it and walked through it…luckily, there was no headless horseman to be seen :D

Of course, taking a hike in early December means cozying up is a must. I did just that with this hand-knitted infinity scarf that my sister made. (And you bet I added another coat layer for our hike to stay even warmer. ;) )
